The Night Archer.

5/24/82. This is obviously a George Perez swipe but I cannot recall from where ( addendum: the cloth from the belt leads me to believe this was from a Illo of Trigon). I was a huge Teen Titans fan (as many were at that time) and recall having a set of "Design" markers that bleed through the paper like a sharpie. The orange seemed almost fluorescent, which which would really not work well for a "Night" Archer........

Solar Son- Back

A scan of the back of the previous illo. Apparently I had a whole group of characters which would later be co-opted by Malibu comics; Ultraforce. Still looking for the scan of a character I created where I pasted aluminum foil to the paper for his costume because I did not know how to create a silver/ chrome look at 14 years old.

Let's start with one of the earliest images I can recall and of which I still have an image. This is Solar Son. How creative! Years later I came across a backup story of the Eternals drawn by Ron Wilson (whose work is very dynamic and of the Jack Kirby school, but lacking in polish and finesse) gorgeously inked by Joe Sinnott from which I horribly"referenced" this pose.
