Trying to get these all posted in the order I did them; at least by year, going by my "signature" at the time where dates are not notated. My Signature at this time is a cursive inspired by Charles Schultz of whom I was a huge fan of the time, particularly the older strips with the more floppy eared Snoopy.

Unamed character.

My first (and possibly only) African American Super-Hero that I "created". It's apparentlya John Byrne swipe from the OHOTMU, which was like the bible of comics to me at the time. I was obviously experimenting with asymmetry in the costume.

The Night Archer.

5/24/82. This is obviously a George Perez swipe but I cannot recall from where ( addendum: the cloth from the belt leads me to believe this was from a Illo of Trigon). I was a huge Teen Titans fan (as many were at that time) and recall having a set of "Design" markers that bleed through the paper like a sharpie. The orange seemed almost fluorescent, which which would really not work well for a "Night" Archer........
